Travel Information

Your specific travel confirmation details will be provided to you via email approximately one to two weeks prior to training.

Ground Transportation

Upon arrival at the Detroit Metro Wayne County Airport, please proceed to the baggage claim area. Transportation to the hotel in Southfield is provided and will be operated by Golden Limousine. Look for your driver near your baggage claim area.

Your room rate and tax will be billed to Sun’s master account. However, you will be asked to provide a credit card at check-in for incidentals.

Travel Assistance

Should you require any assistance or experience issues while traveling to Detroit, with transportation to the hotel, or at the hotel during check-in, please call or text the Events Team at (866) 893-4643. The Events Team should be contacted in the event your flight may be delayed, changed, or cancelled. The Events Team will also assist with making necessary arrangements to ensure you arrive in Detroit.

All travel expenses relating to ground transportation in Michigan, your flight, and your hotel accommodations are pre-paid by Sun. It is recommended you have around $50 or so available in the event you need to purchase food at the airport, or pay any luggage fees for checking a bag. When these travel expenses are incurred, please ensure you save your receipt so they can be submitted for reimbursement.

Note: Please do NOT pay airline fees other than checked luggage – including flight change fees, seat assignment/upgrade fees, etc. as those changes must be arranged by our travel team and will NOT be eligible for reimbursement if made on your own.
