
Dress Code
The dress code for the week is smart casual. Blouses, button-downs, polos, or other collared shirts may be worn. Dress pants or dark-wash jeans and practical footwear. Temperatures may fluctuate in the training room, and although we try our best to keep everyone comfortable, it is recommended you bring a sweater or other similar item in the event the training/meeting rooms are cooler than you prefer.
Things to Pack
All training outlines, notebooks, and other necessary materials will be provided. Please be sure to check the weather for the Detroit area before you leave so you know whether or not you will need outerwear, boots, etc. The hotel has an indoor pool and a fitness center. Please pack accordingly if you wish to use these facilities.
Meals
All meals will be provided once you arrive in Michigan and through the duration of your stay.
A full breakfast will be served each morning at the hotel. You will receive a voucher upon checking in at the hotel, and will redeem this for breakfast prior to heading to the Main Office for training.
Lunch will be served daily at Sun’s Main Office. A boxed lunch will be provided on Thursday to assist with those who have tight departure schedules.
Dinner on Tuesday night will be on your own. Please ensure to keep an itemized receipt for expense reimbursement, and note that alcoholic beverages are not eligible for reimbursement.
The OPS leadership team will host an off-site dinner on Wednesday evening.
Snacks and refreshments will be provided daily at the Main Office during training.
Training Location
All training sessions will take place at Sun’s Main Office in Southfield, Michigan. The Main Office is conveniently located across the street from the hotel.
Transportation to the Main Office will be provided by shuttle and will be scheduled in advance for you. Due to the short distance from the hotel, many choose to walk.
